Today I worked off and on all day. This scarf is 30" x 30" and rather large to work on a flat surface. I move around a lot, I keep turning the scarf so I am not stretching across the scarf and hurting my back. I am happy so far but I will need to make it work and connect all these areas that I am working on. I like the colors so far and I am using salt for texture. The top of the scarf is quite dark and beautiful. I hope I will be able to get that beautiful color I see in the picture.Last night my hero was elected president of the United States. I am thrilled and so are all my family. Obama has a huge job to do, our country is in a mess and I am praying for his success in all he attempts to do.

emmitt and i are so excited for the future too. mr. obama is an amazing person and i am so happy that he is our new president. he has a big job to do, but i cannot think of a better person to do it!
