The Bride' image size is 40" x 60", I did this in colored pencils. It was so large that I used an easel so it would be upright and I could use my whole arm to draw. I used a lot of cross hatching. I found this wedding dress at an old antique shop on Chestnut St. I was very interested in the negative shapes in this drawing and I have always wanted to do the full length of this dress and maybe I will. I think I would use oil painting to do it in. The pearl necklace was made by my Mother. The old hanger was also found in an antique shop. If you click on the image it will enlarge.

This is awesome. You know, this would make a terrific banner across the top of your blog.
Very beautiful. There is such a feeling in this work...such wonderful detail!
Ah, another discovery, this blog.
Magic, and perhaps a little Middle Earth? Perhaps a little Galadriel?.
