Monhegan Lupines, Acrylic, 8" x 10" sold

One year when I plein air painted on Monhegan Island, Maine, it just happened to be a huge Lupine explosion. It was just beautiful. Lupines were everywhere. This painting brought that whole week back to me.

You would have loved our vacation. I took so many pictures of flowers that I used up my flash drive. We went to a poppy preserve, acres and acres of wild flowers. I love lupines too.
