This surely is the wildest Iris I have painted. I also painted the background with Gold paint. I am interested in using Gold Leaf or Metal leaf. Has anyone used Gold Leaf? I would be so interested in how you used it. I would love to hear from you. I am working on Three Plums and I am really happy with it. The colors are as calm as this painting is wild. The weather is gorgeous today, totally different than yesterday. I wish you all a wonderful day.

Wild Purple Iris, Acrylic, 6" x 6",sold

Hi,
well I have used Gold Leaf straight out of a spray can, and it is of course oil based, but when it dries, one cannot tell the work.
