Two Green Tomatoes Two, Oil, 8" x 10"

Here is the second of my Two Green Tomato series. I am happy with these. All the paintings I show on this blog are framed and ready to hang. I need to get an ebay account and an Esty account. I am all set with paypal, I need my daughter to help me get these accounts going, sorry but I am not confident about doing this alone. Maybe tomorrow I will give ebay a chance. Finished two scarves yesterday and have two more stretched and ready to draw and wax and paint. I expect I will have photographs ready for my Izolajeanne blog tomorrow.

Jeanne,
This is wonderful. The greens that you used for the skin give it such an authentic waxy look, and the shadows are perfect! You definately should set up and etsy store for your scarves and your paintings. Maybe you could see giclee prints of your paintings, also. I've been looking around on Etsy lately and I think it needs more fine art represented, I think you'd do very well.

Your paintings are so honest and truthful to the subject and to the light. There is a tenderness with which you approach what you are painting. They are soulful. I also love how you set up your dynamic compositions.

Thank you so much for sharing your comments on my blog! You are very kind and generous. Thanks for telling me to look at Agnes Martin. I have ordered a book about her.

These are particularly beautiful, Jeanne. The shadows and the shadow sides of the tomatoes are really well done. Don't feel bad about being techno-phobic - MANY of us are! And look - you're blogging - a lot of people can't do that!
